Our values
What guides our work
Value one
Accountability
Every feature we build is designed to enhance transparency and auditability within correctional environments — not work around it.
Value two
Inclusion
We are committed to solutions that address real access barriers — for families, for institutions, and for the communities that benefit when reintegration succeeds.
Value three
Impact
We measure success not only in adoption, but in reduced administrative burden, stronger family connections, and safer communities.
Common questions
Questions institutions and families ask.
Straightforward answers about how ConnectCorr works, what it does, and where it fits within existing correctional operations.
- Does ConnectCorr have access to inmate accounts or institutional records?
- No. ConnectCorr is designed to facilitate secure connections and transactions without direct access to inmate trust accounts, correctional records, or institutional databases. Institutions retain full control of their own systems and data at all times.
- Can ConnectCorr contact or visit an inmate on behalf of a family member?
- No. ConnectCorr does not contact inmates directly, schedule visits, or act as a liaison with correctional facilities. The platform is a digital tool that helps families send deposits and complete identity verification. Visiting an inmate still follows the institution’s own approved visitor process.
- Does ConnectCorr replace our existing correctional management system?
- No. ConnectCorr is designed to work alongside existing institutional infrastructure, not replace it. It integrates with current systems and operates within established security policies.
- How is data protected?
- All personal and financial data is handled to Canadian federal Protected B standards, with role-based access, full audit logging, and Canadian-hosted cloud infrastructure.
- Which institutions can use ConnectCorr?
- The platform is built for federal (Correctional Service Canada) and provincial/territorial correctional institutions across Canada, and will be rolled out through pilot partnerships.
- When will ConnectCorr be available?
- ConnectCorr is currently in active development. Platform availability will be announced as pilot partnerships are established.
- Is family messaging part of the launch?
- At launch, ConnectCorr provides ConnectAccount (verified identity) and ConnectPay (electronic trust-account deposits). A monitored institutional messaging capability is planned for a future release, subject to pilot partner requirements.
